About Us
Centuries ago in Mongolia, the Mighty Khan's hunting parties would gather on the banks of the great river after days of hunting to celebrate their successes. Communing in banquet style tents, the Mongols would prepare slivers of meat and vegetables by slicing them with their razor sharp swords. The food would then be cooked by searing it on their overturned shields that were heated by a blazing fire. Genghis Khan and the fiercest warriors would sit high above the hordes and enjoy the food prepared for him on a large, roaring hot grill.
It is with these ancient traditions in mind that that Mongolian Grill brings you one of the world's most original eating experiences. Each creation begins with the guest and their empty bowl. As you move along a huge buffet, your options are virtually limitless. Once your bowl is complete, just pass it off to a griller who waits at the enormous grill in the centre of the restaurant to cook your sumptuous creation. Rather than opting for dinner and a show, at the Mongolian Grill, the show is part of the dinner experience.
